Nomadendencies: Bag Lady

Well, hot dang.  Erykah was right.

Foooooock!!!!  My back is hurting so badly.  BUT!  In just one month I will be able to turn my Bag Lady License in.  All Praise!!!!!

I am still going to be traveling, but I will be able to strictly pack for the occasion.  I am currently carrying my life around in three bags plus Eb, my guitar.  I have storage on both coasts of the USA.  It’s almost over.  I keep telling myself that each time I open my suitcase to choose wardrobe for the day.  Followed by a strategic repacking session to maintain a decent surrounding.  Heck, at least I can add professional packer to my resume after this.  I’m totally not complaining; I am super grateful for the opportunities to explore this land that is truly ours… lawwwd!   Don’t get me started on that.  We can talk about that in Relative or Debate Worthy.

I am currently in Florida visiting with my Ma before I leave the country.  That sounds crazy.  The “visiting” part, that is.  It has been way too long since I have been able to say that.  Like mother like daughter.  Ma is a nomad, so that’s where I get it from; besides that fact that I just truly enjoy the perpetual voyage.  This feels good.  Well, she is at work right now, but once she returns we get to have our little silly time, chit chat, make dinner together, sip some wine and just be.

I can cook, but Ma can throw down!  I’ve never been taught how to make meals, I just started that during my stay in Charlotte.  I have improved since my first meal in 2011.  Prior to that, I was like the spaghetti queen!  (smiles)  It’s very tasty spaghetti, thank you- though I have not made any in so long.  That’s a good sign.  So, ya.  I left home like three weeks after my seventeenth birthday.  Oops.  Guess I shorted myself that quality kitchen love time with Ma.  I have been on the move ever since.

Well, here we are now.  I am going to end this entry.  I may spoil all the details, and I want you to come back for more. So…. ciao!
