A visual artist and former bass player for Shirley Caesar united to create the artist known as Jorgie.
The independent, American artist- born in Virginia, raised in North Carolina and currently living England- began her entertainment career with modeling at the ripe age of eighteen months, followed by stage plays and dance/theatre training. Young Jorgie naturally captivated her audience. With her first studio recording experience in her ninth year of life, she felt a new passion stirring. Upon turning eleven, she wrote and submitted her first original song to a southern California company.
As a teenager and into her adulthood, she began to explore the realm of film and television- with thanks to her former agent, Dorothy Houston- accepting the role of an extra in the film BLOOD DONE SIGN MY NAME (2010). After parting ways, Jorgie became more resilient on her quest to master her own success, which was officially initiated after her first publication shoot in 2011. From then on, her presence was in high demand for various publications, clothing designers, fashion shows and digital/print advertisements. Never far from the screen, in 2013 Jorgie was cast in Doritos Crash The Superbowl: “The Champ”, appeared as a featured extra during season seven in episodes six, seven and eight of BET’s THE GAME , and also landed herself a featured role in the American-Christian romance PRINCESS CUT (2015).
